This is Paul Neuhaus Dot Com. Someday, I hope to do something more exciting with it, but here it is.
Right now, The most exciting stuff can be found on the Writings page. You’ll find all my books and a link to my Medium profile there. As of this moment, Medium is where I’m most active, so give it a look.
That’s all you need to know. Hopefully, this place will get less vanilla in the months to come.
GREGORY SCHILLING
Hi Paul,
My name is Greg Schilling, and I enjoyed your 2019 Balboa Studios video on YouTube. I’m a St. Anthony High School grad of 1968, which is right across the street along Alamitos from where the main part of the studios were located. I’ve been doing historical research for the school since 2017, and have sent your video to the administrative staff. They were surprised and thought it was “cool.”
Question – Starting at the 3:47 mark of the video, you show an upper photo of the Balboa offices, which are on the left & right side of 6th St., looking west In the far background is a tall bell tower, which I’ve identified as St. Anthony’s 2nd church, built in the gothic style in 1914. The automobile turning onto 6th St., going west, partially blocks this view. Where did you find this photo?? Do you know what year it was taken? I’ve been unable to find it at the various websites that have these historical Balboa Studio photos. I would be most appreciative if you let me know!
Thanks, and take care.
Greg Schilling,
St. Anthony H.S. (Class of ’68)
